Thank You, Ginan
A store is nothing without its staff. If the store is the body, the team is the blood coursing through the veins. They are the components that breathe life into the frame and provide the pulse, the beat: they drive the purpose.
When our space is represented by warm, enthusiastic and talented people - like Ginan Yelda - something extraordinary happens. With staff like Ginan greeting members of the public, space is held generously, and the potential we offer to community members is nurtured.
Ginan's influence helped to create a unique communal space that is welcoming, open and honest. Her work helped to make Lost In Books more than a book store. She helped us to build a community, and to help community members to find new possibilities for themselves.
Watching Ginan's progression has been inspiring.
“Ginan joined us as a volunteer. We saw her talent and offered her paid work. She brought commercial acumen and negotiating ability; a deft ability to work with complex situations; generosity and light into our team; quiet efficiency and deep talent and capability. She leaves a heart-shaped hole in our team! Thank you Ginan for all you gave to Lost In Books.”
- Jane Stratton, CEO
As Jane says, you have been an incredible asset to our team, and we are grateful to you. Thank you!
