LOST IN BOOKS featured in new Google campaign celebrating small Aussie businesses
Google Australia has launched a new campaign celebrating the resilience of Aussie small businesses during COVID-19 featuring the inspiring story of LOST IN BOOKS.
The hero film features Lost In Books and our Forked Tongues Storyteller lead, Lillian-Rodrigues Pang, doing a virtual reading of Rain Before Rainbows by Smitri Halls and David Litchfield published by Walker Books.
Lost In Books had to temporarily close our doors back in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but with the continued support of our team, partners, loyal customers and community of artists and volunteers, we were able to pivot our creative programs and services digitally, launch a new online shop and youtube channel LOST IN BOOKS TV.
The Google campaign developed with Colenso BBDO and The Hallway celebrates the story of how Lost In Books have adapted to the challenges presented by the pandemic by making our books, services and multilingual content more accessible online. With the help of Google’s free digital tools and services, the Lost In Books community was able to stay connected, grow and thrive through this time.
The campaign will run on TV, Cinema, and Digital across Australia.
