Artist Opportunity: The Writers' Room
Are you a writer looking to develop your craft? Do you work in languages other than English?
The Writers’ Room provides free space, creative provocations, friendship, mentorship and support for the development of new writing focused on experimentation, play and the interplay of languages. Your mentor is published novelist, Peter Polites. Peter has just submitted the manuscript for his third novel and is working on screenplay for another of his published novels.
The Writers’ Room participants are meet fortnightly during school term to respond, to share work, to offer comment and critique, and to enjoy peer support. Meetings will take place every second Tuesday from 5.30pm - 7pm at Think+DO Community House (fka LOST IN BOOKS) in Fairfield. The next meeting is Tuesday, 30 August.
Current participants join from as close by as Fairfield and as far away as Vietnam. Join us!
